Hardware transparency

A practical hosting benchmark methodology

Benchmark results are useful only when the workload, environment and measurement method are disclosed. Hostlixo lists assigned plan resources before checkout and recommends testing with your actual application.

CPU responsiveness

Measure sustained and burst workload behavior using software relevant to the service, not a single synthetic score.

Storage latency

Review read, write and latency behavior with representative file sizes while accounting for caching and concurrent activity.

Network route

Test from representative user networks and regions. Distance, peering and congestion can change results over time.

Application behavior

Observe tick time, response time, memory pressure and error rates under a repeatable workload.

Why no universal score is published

Performance varies by plan, region, software version, configuration and neighboring network conditions. Publishing one unsupported number would be misleading. Use the disclosed CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth allocation to shortlist a plan, then measure your workload.
